A critical error has occurred.
Argument must be between 0 and 2. Parameter name: fieldCount

This is the error I am getting trying to load a skin with the manifest.  The skin loads fine without the manifest.  Please help me understand what this problem is. Here is the manifest:

I think you should use:

<dotnetnuke type="Package" version="5.0">

Timo:

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.  You were right - needed to have the package version="5.0"  and you must keep the format for the skin version "x.x.x"

I made these changes and both my skin and containers loaded just fine.

I like the new way to load skins in 5.0, but I do think this is a bit ridgid (and not documented as being ridgid).  I guess it wouldn't be so bad if the error messages were a bit more helpful.  I spent hours going over the manifest and overlooked the fact that I had 5.1.1 because I din't think this would make a difference - whoops on my part for assuming!

Anyway, thank you because I was stumped!

I agree it could be clearer, I logged it here:

http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=10546&PROJID=2

Please note that it might take a while before being implemented (if it gets implemented)

Bug are solved first.
