I have a site that does some URL Rewrites. One of my pages rewrites to http://.../job-alert/ But when I try to edit this page as host the url will get cut off at the word "alert" --> http://.../job- . The page also does not function the same as if I view the page using this url but does work as expected if I use the tabid (http://.../Defalt.aspx?tabid=####).

There has got to be a way to tell DNN to ignore the word "alert" in the url so that it renders the page correctly.

As an update to this issue. When looking at the view source, the form tag has an action of ".../job-". When testing this with other values for the name of the (such as job-agent) the action tag is correct and the page function as expected. Any help in resolving this issue is greatly appreciated.

As a final update to this. This looks like it is a 4.8.2 version issue. The filter in the source code is overly aggressive and thus removes the word "alert" from the page form tags. This article give a good explanation of what is happening.

Later versions of DNN resolve this issue.
