I'm having issues with one particular user. (in the Forum)...

I tried deleting them hoping I could recreate but of course that doesn't work...

How do I completely get rid of a deleted user so that I can add another one...

is this just a caching thing and maybe if I wait a while it will work?

Thank you...

No, this is a side effect fo the new 'soft delete' functionality for Users.  The user still exists in the data, just with a "IsDeleted" flag.

Unfortuntely, this feature was rolled out before it was completely baked and there is no functionality to undelete a user, or flush out soft deleted users...

If you have DB access, you can go into the Users table directly and remove the record.
