Hi

Here's my situation.  We have a dev server and a live server both with the same version of dnn.  To copy over to the live server i simply copied the db and dnn files across.  This worked great but i realised a problem if i want to do this again in the future.  When a new customer is registered on the live server they wont be on the dev so if i need to copy over the db again i've lost these new users. so..

Is there a way to copy over current user on the production server back to the dev sever so that they are the same when site has finished being updated?

Some might suggest simply copying the whole db back.  This isn't an option as inbetween copying it back, working on the site, then moving it back, the data could be different again.  If i was to write some sql script to do this what will i need to take into consideration?

Thanks

If you are just looking for user accounts, DataSprings has a module that should fit the bill for you.  Their user import/export module.
