I have just installed DNN 5.0, and I am new to DNN.  I have noticed that the default membership provider is the AspNetSqlMembershipProvider.  The users I create are put into both the ASPN_Users table and the internal users table.  However, the default roles provider is the DNNRoleProvider.  The roles I create are only put into the interal roles table.  I have two questions I hope someone can help me with.  First, why the inconsistency?  Second, can someone post the syntax I need to put in the web config file to add a Microsoft Roles provider?

The DNN system DOES NOT use the microsoft process, and as far as I know there is no easy way to do this.
