I was wondering if anyone ran into this issue with DNN 5 before.  This is the first time I've used DNN 5, so it's probably some simple setting that I'm missing, but I went to edit the "Delete Post Templates" for my forum, but the only clickable link out of all the templates is the "Email Templates" (see below).  What would cause all the other links to become "inert"?

Thanks,

Kev

Only Email Templates were ever enabled. In the new version of the module, 4.5.3, you don't see anything like this.

Oh, I thought I had the latest version becuase DNN 5 didn't have the forum in the core, so I downloaded it off this site.

Ok, I updated and now I see the different settings menu, but now there isn't (or at least I don't see it) a place to edit the "Delete post templates"

Am I missing something?  I just want to add a new e-mail template reason for why someone's post was deleted.

Thanks,

Kev

Kev,

The functionality to change this didn't exist in the previous version and is not there in the new version. In the previous 4.4.3 version, there was a disabled link w/ the intent of making it new functionality later on. When working on 4.5.3, this was never added and the different links were removed as the UI was re-done here. In other words, I just haven't added the capability to edit this stuff in the UI. The data you are looking for is stored in the Forum_Templates table, you should take a look at what is there today and it should make sense (just keep in mind TemplateTypeID, which is stored in Forum_TemplateTypes) .

On another note, your theme looks off because of some additions we made to the CSS (and it looks like you have a customized version). You may want to use a tool like beyond compare to compare the css classes to add what you are missing.

Crispy,

Ok, so it just wasn't added in.  Ok, I can live with editing the database directly, but I've added a new entry to the "Forum_templates" table, but it doesn't show up in the e-mail template dropdown when I try to delete a thread.  I'm assuming that there is a intermediary table to have them display there?  I thought it might be the "Forum_emailtemplates" table, but none of the existing templates are listed in that table, so it must be somewhere else, right?

Thanks,

Kevin
