I am using the Active Directory Provider v1.0.4 with DNN v4.8.4. Currently, I have the AD provider 1.0.4 installed but with *no* source code. I want to upgrade it to v1.0.6 with the source code. I have downloaded the ActiveDirectory_01.00.06_Source.zip file. Can someone please tell me how to proceed?  Thanks in advance.

Just install the source version on your DNN install. The source .vb files will be automatically extracted from the SourceFiles.resources file. I've got an updated User Guide for the .06 version but am having some permission problems getting it uploaded to the DNN site. However the .04 user guide will walk you through the install process. It can be found here.
