Hello,

We have developed a DNN version 04.09.02 for an intranet site and it works well for machines on the domain at the office. The problem I’m having is for users connecting through a VPN on a non-domain machine can’t use the site correctly. I think this has something to do with DNN renaming the page paths from a fully qualified domain name to a local path. An example would be locally hitting the site http://localsitename/
redirects to http://localsitename/dotnetnuke/Home/tabid/37/logon/633855201870886526/Default.aspx  and all is fine but through the VPN I believe you would need the domain to hit the site, and when trying this http://localsitename.domain/ it redirects to this http://localsitename/dotnetnuke/Home/tabid/37/logon/633855201870886526/Default.aspx
When I would want it to redirect to something like this with the full domain:

I have added the portal alias for the localsitename.domain but it seems to drop the domain from all links and page re-directs. I’m looking for a way to change the default to include the full domain.

Thanks,

---Jeff
