there seems to be a problem with your database, which seems not to be installed correctly. I suggest to clear database and files, re-unzip DNN package and start from scratch. Make sure, ASP.Net account is granted full file system permissions for the DNN directory including all files and folders within.

Sebastian Leupold

Thanks for the pointers.  It's turned out that it was my permissions for the ASP.NET account hadden properly cascaded down through all the sub folders and files.  Now I got this sorted it's working a charm.

Thanks for your help.
