I am new to DotNetNuke and relatively new to asp.net programming. I am a developer for the last 15years and experienced in most environments. What are the necessary steps to modify the gateway so I can connect to a New Zealand bank? Can I use VS 2008, which files do I modify and how do I implement any changes.

Hi Neil,

Please read this post to install a working environment within VS (all versions from 2005), DotNetNuke and the Store module with sources. The payment gateways are provider based, you have to create you hown provider for your bank. Look at the projects DotNetNuke.Store.Cart.AuthorizeNetProvider, DotNetNuke.Store.Cart.EmailProvider and DotNetNuke.Store.Cart.PayPalProvider for samples.

Ask yourself what your reaction would be, if you were approached by me (a total stranger) on the street to ask you something without saying "Hello" nor "Thank you"? After several years of services dedicated to the community, I begin to be tired to read requests without any form of politeness.

Hi Pragarti,

Same advice than before, read my post about how to isntall the source version. If you discover dnn, you should read this book. Moreover, the Store module is not the better one to start module programming with dnn because the VS solution contains 21 projects!

Hi Gilles,

I have read your post at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Forums/tabid/795/forumid/114/threadid/186305/scope/posts/Default.aspx and installed the Store Module source version accordingly. I tried developing custom gateway provider as instructed in "The DNN Store module payment gateway providers" (http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Development/Forge/ModuleReports/tabid/970/EntryId/334/The-DNN-Store-module-payment-gateway-providers.aspx) but to no luck. I am unable to see the custom gateway in the AdminStore page. No errors, no warnings nothing, but simply the custom gateway doesn't get displayed. I am unable to understand where I am going wrong. Please guide me in the right direction. I am using dnn 5.1.4 and VS2008. The Store module version is 2.1.25
