Hi Everyone,

Do you guys know if there is a decent 3rd party page management utility available? We have a massive site that we're re-organizing in DNN 5.1, but the standard page management system makes it difficult.

Thanks,

Larry B.

Can you provide a few examples of the types of things that are difficult or time consuming?

It seems as if the only way to organize pages is using the Admin->Pages utility. We have several hundred pages on the site, and having to scroll down to each page using the little arrows to re-organize sub/parent pages is very time consuming, and non-efficent. The size of the scroll box also makes it a pain. A tree structure would elimate having to scroll through each page. It's not very easy to copy the layout of a page as well. It would be nice if there were a windows based utility that handled this.

There used to be a third-party drag and drop page manager, but I can't seem to find it right now.  As for the layouts, look at using templates to handle what you need.

I am using the Pages Administration module (here) on my DNN 4.x intranet and it works well for the 165 pages I manage.
The FAQ states that it will work with DNN 5 but I am not in a position to test this just yet.

Let us know if you try it out and if you get ahold of the developer.
