I may be extremely stupid and missing something (quite likely), but using the most recent Forum Module version I cannot for the life of me figure out where to set the SystemAvatar for usage.  I check the enable box in the Forum Admin settings, but I can't add it to anyone's profile.  No options to do so anywhere.  Anyone able to help me out?

If system avatars are enabled in forum admin and you verified the folder exists in the dnn file manager, you should be able to do this from a user's account as an administrator or forum admin (via Manage User, which shows their control panel) in the Avatars section.

I have System Avatars enabled, but all other Avatars are turned off.  In this case, the Edit Avatar option disappears from the Manage User option.  Is this intended design?

To further ask on Brian's post, how do you go about taking a profile field that was added to the users section and having that value decide what the graphic would be.  For instance, I have a field of Team, with a list that has all the teams, when a team is selected for the user in their profile they get a value of XXX in that field, how do I use XXX as the avatar for their profile id?

To answer the first problem, I verified this is an issue. The only work around is to go to the user's control panel and add view/5/ into the URL parameters (this will load the control you cannot access when user avatars are disabled (which is the bug, should be available for module admin/admin).

As for wreed: There is no connection between a user's profile data and an avatar and honestly never thought of any requirements for such a thing. Typically, in this situation, I would have used roles and role avatars to accomplish what you need.
