sensen,

This backs up the SQL database in native SQL bak format? Do you have to have write permissions on the database server in order to do this? Or does it save the bak file onto space on the webserver?

Can this be scheduled?

Hi Michael,

you dont have to have write the permission to perform the database backup as it save it on the webserver.
Unfortunately, this is a manual backup, In the future, I may add this as a Dotnetnuke scheduler task.
Give it a try :)
I tried on my local dev, powerdnn and my working place server. Havent tried it on GoDaddy. But i assume, it should be working like others.

andy

Hi guys,

Version 2.1.0 is now released. This fix the issue that the root files are not included in the back up.
