Did you already try the core module "form and List"?

For simple feedback forms (just collection and storage of entries), I use Feedback Designer from Interactive Webs (Link) the cost is very reasonable, and it's very easy to setup and customize via templates.  However, if you're looking for a more in-depth forms system, then yes Dynamic forms or Enterprise forms are very solid systems (but not inexpensive). We use Enterprise forms here for our more robust forms, ones that have dynamic fields (You chose A, and B appears) or that have to tie into other databases, as well as ones that require a more advanced workflow  (form is submitted, Approval Role A is notified, Upon Approval, it gets sent to Role B, etc.).
