Yehuda. Thanks, but though I'm asking about the basics, I'm hardly a beginner and know of both 3rd-party sites.  This is a place for learning, and your answer doesn't really do much other than direct me to another place where - if I was a novice - wouldn't answer my questions...  My question was:

If I install a 3rd-party Language Module, do these modules get called from the DNN Language Skin Object..?  i.e. if I click a flag or select a locale option from the drop-down, will the module come into play as well?

Thanks Sebastian.

So, as I ask above.  If I install one of these, are they "called" by the language skin object..? i.e. if I click on a flag, will this not only call the core locale, but the module locale as well..?

Jon,

yes, the language selector changes ASp:net UI culture, which is taken into account by static localization and all ML modules I am aware of.

OK, Sorry for trying. We'll try better next time. My first answer was realy meant to try and help you understand it better. As I said, I never used ML modules since they do not fit my needs.

I localized the content of my portal with the localization modules from Apollo-Software (http://www.apollo-software.nl/) . These modules (PageLocalization and MLHTML) work very good and they are not that expensive. The MLHTML module even is for free.

Hope this helps,

Anthony
