I am having a couple of problems setting up an environment where users logged into the domain auto login when they visit the site and users not logged into the domain are allowed to manually login.  These are the problems I am having:

1. I am having trouble disabling forms Authentication on WindowsSignin.aspx in IIS 7.  It says that the feature is locked and is read-only.  If I disable forms Authentication on the entire site it will disable it on WindowsSignin.aspx as well but I don't think that this is what I should do.

2. I am able to set up the site to where users logged into the domain are auto-logged in if their AD account has an associated DNN account already created.  If the user does not have a DNN account they cannot get to the site.  I have automatic user creation enabled.  In this situation I have everything in Authentication settings except Windows authentication disabled for the entire site.

You don't need to disable form authentication but you do need to disable Anonymous authentication. You can safely ignore the Alert when you have got Windows and forms Authenication enabled for the WindowsSignin.aspx page.
