Does anyone have any ideas on how I could share user accounts between multiple portals?  I've got a subsidiary company website that is currently a parent portal to our main website, and I'd really like to be able to share accounts between them.  I've seen DNNMasters module, but to be frank I'm rather turned off by their website, it doesn't give me very much confidence in their module (especially given the amount they charge) and I'm looking for other suggestions.

Does anyone have other multi portal user sharing modules that they'd recommend, or perhaps another way that I can share user accounts myself?

Hi,

Have you considered the Inventua Passthrough module.  It may accomplish what you are looking to do: http://www.inventua.com/dnn-passthrough-overview.content

Alternatively we have implemented an authentication provider for a client where we use a common user database (involves an enhanced registration function as well to enable all portals to register users).  if your project budget extends to looking at something like that please let us know.

there are 3rd party modules, check out Marketplace and Snowcovered.com, e.g. for modules from DataSprings, UCanUse and DnnMasters.

Hi Mesan, have a look at Michael Washington's site, look for Single Signon, Portal Login and Auto Portal Login
