Does the Repository Module itself work? can you place a Repository on a page and upload/view/download items?

Next thing to check ...

If you go to Host->Module Definitions, do you see an entry for the Repository Dashboard? if you do and click on the pencil icon, you should see the following settings...

 Module Name: Repository Dashboard
 Folder Name: Dashboard
Business Controller Class : (should be blank)
 Dependencies: (should be blank)

 All checkboxes should be clear

 Module Definition: Repository Dashboard
 Friendly Name: Repository Dashboard
 Default Cache Time: 0

You should have 2 module controls defined..
 (blank)    (blank)    DesktopModules/Dashboard/RepositoryDashboard.ascx
 Settings    DashboardSettings    DesktopModules/Dashboard/DashboardSettings.ascx

My bad for not mentioning that I get that error when I try to add the module to a page...

I looked at the Modile Definitions page and the setting are just like you described.

I only appear to have the option to add the repository dashboard to a page.
