Is there any update to the repository module that will fix this issue?

I didn't have seen this issue before.

What is the DNN version you are using?
What is the Repository version you are using?
Have you 3rd parity modules installed on same site or other modules?
Have you check your Eventlog vor more detailed error log information?

Have you read this thread completly?  Following the complete thread want give you a answer and link you to a beta version.

Steve Fabian's last post fixed that issue some time ago (see his last post in this thread with version 3.5.0 of the repository module).

I have the beta build and do verify that it fixes the problem. I am curious about the official release of this version. The last official release on Forge seems to be 03.01.15
