I've noticed, and I'm not sure when this changed, that when I've been inserting links and choose Browse Server and choose a page on my site then de-select "Track Number Of Times This Link Is Clicked?" it inserts the full, absolute URL.

I know this hasn't always been this way.  I know it would insert the relative link when you Track and when you don't track.  Before it would insert just /Commissions/Worship/tabid/108/Default.aspx as an example but now it inserts the full URL, http://mysite.com/Commissions/Worship/tabid/108/Default.aspx

This is a problem for us as we use a portal alias to build our sites before we switch over the nameservers.  When we insert the links it is giving us the portal alias because it uses the absolute URLs.  Why has this changed? and is there a fix to get back previous behavior?

AFAIK the URL is truncated when saving the data, did you check out the text stored in the database?

This still seems to be happening in 5.2.0 as well.  And in fact several other versions on DNN 5 that I'm using.

FCK seems to be returning www.domain.com/page which then also gets stored in the DB as: href="http://www.domain.com/page

Has anyone else noticed this or know why its doing that. Seems like a bug to me

it is still doing it in 5.2.2. Not sure if it's been reported in gemini or not. search isn't working for me right now.

EDIT: If you track the number of times a link is clicked and/or Log the Date, Time, User of each click then it provides a relative URL. If neither of those are selected, it enters in the absolute URL.
