Sorry, I'm a bit new to this, but looking through the downloads it seems that there is no forums module for DNN 4.x yet.
  • Is there a timeframe on this?
  • Or is there any way to use the 3.x forums module in a DNN 4 environment?
Alternatively, does anyone know of a .NET 2 compatible forums engine available?

The current version of the forum will run on DNN 4 but it's not perfectly integrated with the gallery... yet. I still can't get avatars to show up etc., but it does work.

From the download page:
"DotNetNuke 4.0 is designed to be used with ASP.NET 2.0."
That the previous release of the forum works on DNN 4.x I think implies it is on top of ASP.NET 2.0

ActiveForums has an elegant forum module for DNN, and a version that will run on DNN 4.x


There are many other ASP.NET forum packages available, but I am unsure as to their ability to integrate with DNN.

This forum runs on DotNetNuke 4.x the same as it does on 3.x. There is the issue of hte gallery which doesn't run so well in 4.x and it seems there are attachment issues when running either DNN version.
