Hi.

I need to create one custom properties for User. In DNN exist feature
which can help me - ProfileProperties. But it doesn't work for me
because I mean I am making some error. It's locate in code behind of
my SomeUserControl, which i am programmatically add to ViewModule.ascx:

public partial class SomeUserControl : PortalModuleBase
{
   private DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserInfo _user;

   protected void Page_Load(object sender, EventArgs e)
   {
       DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController.GetUserProfile(ref _user);
       if (DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController.GetPropertyDefinitionByName(PortalId,
"ReferralSource") == null)
       {
           DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition ppd
= new DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition(PortalId);
           ppd.PropertyName = "ReferralSource";
           ppd.DataType = 349;
           ppd.DefaultValue = "";
           ppd.Length = 1000;
           ppd.ModuleDefId = -1;
           ppd.PortalId = 0;
           ppd.PropertyCategory = "Preferences";
           ppd.Required = false;
           ppd.ViewOrder = -1;
           ppd.Visible = true;
           ppd.Visibility =
DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserVisibilityMode.AllUsers;
           DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController.AddPropertyDefinition(ppd);
       }
   }

   protected void btnSubmit_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
   {
       if (ReferralDropDownList.SelectedValue != "")
       {
           if (_user.Profile.GetProperty("ReferralSource") == null)
           {
               DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfilePropertyDefinition
referralSourcePPD =
DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController.GetPropertyDefinitionByName(PortalId,
"ReferralSource");

               _user.Profile.SetProfileProperty("ReferralSource",
ReferralDropDownList.SelectedValue);
               referralSourcePPD.PropertyValue =
ReferralDropDownList.SelectedValue;
               _user.Profile.ProfileProperties.Add(referralSourcePPD);
           }
       }
       DotNetNuke.Entities.Profile.ProfileController.UpdateUserProfile(_user);
       DotNetNuke.Entities.Users.UserController.UpdateUser(PortalId, _user);
   }
}

If i am SuperUser all it successfully work, but if i am simple
registered - doesn't. For simple registered user I can't save property
values and It very strange but in _user.Profile.ProfileProperties
locate "ReferralSource" property as for SuperUser. But in DB in table
dbo.UserProfile nothing set for "ReferralSource" property for simple
registered user.

Where is my error?

Thanks.
