Hi,
I have similar issues. I did rebuild the DNN source for it in the past and created a bug report on it. Though now with DNN 5.4.4 the issue is still there. In my code I call a shared.resx from an other module so that I need less to localize. So not every ascx has it own resx file.
Any help appreciated.
J.

Examples below! - Is it because I am not using the dotnet 3.5 framework?

Hi Janice - It might be you may want to begin using 3.5 or later, if possible.

In the meantime, and if you would allow me a WAG as I do not know your setup, try deleting your ASP.NET temp files.  You will find them in a directory similar to "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files".  I remember using DNN3 and needing to do this every know and then when developing.  It cannot hurt and those files are really "temporary".

Good luck!

John
