Hi All,

I wanted to customize DNN module controls' contents before it's getting rendered to the output stream.  How it can be done? Should I develop my custom module to be put on every page where I need to customize other modules' output? And then that my custom module can set a "hook" to process other modules' output just befofe this content gets rendered to the output stream? Are there any other ways to do the subject "trick"?

Thank you.

I would have a look at PageBlaster from Snapsis.  It allows you to do this.

Hi Mitchel --

Yes, I have found PageBlaster from Snapsis already and I have signed to their forum and I have posted a question on the subject issue several days ago. But I didn't get any replies yet. Waiting for the answer from them - as far as I see using PageBlaster may result in some not easy to fix side effects for some hosting environmnets  - I wanted to be sure that such side effects will not "bite" me, and to have some alternatives to use if PageBlaster side-effects will not let me to use it in my DNN application...

Your current reply here is the only one I have got on subject issue, and I wanted to take this opportunity to broaden my question a bit: in fact I have to develop a milti-lingual Web site with quite a few custom tables integrated with DNN database. I have done all that integration etc. No problem.

What I cannot decide now because of lack of experience with DNN is what is the most effective (best practices) approach to build multi-lingual web site using current DNN 5.1.x version? Could you please refer to some documentation/books or other sources for me to read through/investigate?

Wouldn't creating a separate dedicated DNN portal for every language within one DNN host/application be a more safe approach? Yes, keeping a separate portal for every language would result in more development and support work but doing it that way looks straightforward and safe here.  Am I wrong? What other multi-lingual DNN sites development options am I missing?

Thank you.
