If you are looking for localized module titles in multilingual web sites, you need to use one of the available 3rd party ML modules, e.g. ealo.codeplex.com, www.apollo-software.nl, dnn.tiendaboliviana.com, magiccontent.codeplex.com.

Hi I use them for the links and html text box, I have created a module and wanted to localise the title, i thought the best way would be using the way specified in the documentation however no-one seems to have got this working at this point.

Thanks

please be aware, there are 2 different ways to retrieve module title:

  • Default view uses title entered in module settings, which can be overridden per language, as shown in EALO and other ml modules
  • all other modules get dedicated titles from moduleControl_title.text key in the associated resource file.
