Great site Nina. It has been very helpful for me and I'm sure that it will also help a lot of people searching for free DNN templates. Thanks.

Ok so what you are writing now I understand that out of the box the DNN Nav menu works.

At this point, it's simply too much for for me to handle creating menus that look like the templates we convert to DNN and we also convert back to dnn 4 since the majority of users are still using DNN 4, although the uptake of DNN 5 is pretty good.

I guess at the end of the day I can only do what I can for nothing. I guess if there was some interest to pay a few dollars it would be worthwhile to convert them to nav menu, but then again, we tend to use the snapsis menu or other third party menus that are faster. I can't seem to get past the lagging load of images in even the default dnn menu. I don't know why - I guess having seen so many third party choices that are fast, compliant, slick and easy to configure I've been spoilt with choices.

And please note, that is not a negative thought - it's just showing how flexible DNN has become by providing us with real choices on navigation that looks good and performs well, so I / my team, would have to spend some time getting familiar with the code again, and believe me they were tired and weary with solpart, and when these third party options came along, it was like a breath of fresh air and ...options/choices.
