Hi all

I have a bad problem in my project.

At first, I must say, I seached a lot for a good location for this tupic but I couldnt find a group about security and media, so I decided to run this topic here because my problem is approximately related to images and media.

 

In my project I want to secure images from unregistered users. Indeed Logined user [or special role of users] can see the images but ther others don't have this premission.

 

Unfortunately, if a user have the direct link of image for example "www.domainname.com/portals/0/images/image1.gif" he would be able to see images.

 

Is there any solution for this problem?

 

Please help me.

I would create a secured folder as you can made in the FileManager of the DNN.  This saves the files into the database.

I did your suggestion, but it didn't work!!!!

maybe I had problems or mistakes!!

can you guide me ?

About developing you are better to post to one of the "Extend it!" Forums.  I can only answers some questions related to the Gallery Module, and I think your post is out of that topic.

It needed special coding into you uplication.  there are special methodes in the DNN Framework.
