I got a stink load of errors when the application did its upgrade but it still said successfull upgrade.

I clicked the link to go to my site and I get this nasty message, HELP!

I have seen several of these errors recently reported in the forums - all but yours following new installs of DNN 5.01.02 and have tracked down a likely cause which I have entered into the the Gemini support system as issue: http://support.dotnetnuke.com/issue/ViewIssue.aspx?id=10771.

Would you be able to post some of the other errors that you noted during the upgrade? In particular, please check for non-empty log files found in the folder Providers/DataProviders/SqlDataProvider.

Assuming that you have a good backup of both the site files and database prior to the upgrade attempt, you will need to restore the site from the backup.

Always remember to do a backup before, upgrading to newer version, so you can roll back to your previous version.
Here is a little module that will do the backup for database and whole data file.

- please make sure, to start a new installation using a blank database

- please make sure to use case insensitive collation for your database

- please post content of log files mentioned above, which can be found inside /providers/dataproviders/sqldataprovider folder.
