I'm trying to allow creating polls but can't figure out why it's not working.  I'm using the latest version of Forums 4.5.3 and dnn ver. 5.1.2.

I've enabled Polls in Forum manager but have no idea what else to do.

Anyone??

Thanks

The thread status needs to be set to 'poll' when the user is creating a new poll, plus it must be the first post in a thread. This should still work even if you don't hae thread status enabled.

I'm sorry but I have no clue as to what you're talking about.

Where is the thread status, I can swear I always look everywhere before I post a question on here.  Could I have missed on a permission thingie issue... perhaps?

Can you please elaborate... thanks.

Ok...

Is that it then... should it be right at the bottom though {feeling like a bit of a dummy here}. IMHO, it should be right at the top like a title or something...

You have to enabled the thread status in General Settings of the Forum Administration, and you have to enable pools in your Forum configuration in the Forum Admin.
