We recently upgraded to DNN 4.9.0.  We have pages on our intranet where we have used the Gallery module that came with older version of DNN that we were on before.

What do you recommend we should do.  Should we look into modules available in snowcovered website?

DNN Gallery v 4.03.00 is slowly making its way through the release testing process. A late beta version (for testing purposes - not for use on live production websites) is available for download from CodePlex at

http://dnngallery.codeplex.com

If you were satisfied with the old Gallery v 3.00.12, you should be happy with v 4.03.00 which has well over 100 fixes issues including the one relating to use of friendly urls in DNN 4.x and 5.x.  There are also a few relatively minor enhancements.  You should be able to upgrade without loss of data from your current Gallery version.

As for looking at modules available on Snowcovered, you will find many available - one is sure to fit your current requirements and preferences in user interface.
