My dnn site is not functioning -- my host changed the trust from full to medium, I know that. I found that if I delete the ChilKatDotNet.dll file from the bin folder, part of the site shows up, but I get a server error when I try to login or create accounts.

Anybody know what to do?

Thanks in advance.

All of the core modules etc will run in medium trust just fine so i would suggest removing 3rd party module DLLs one by one until you find the one causing the issue.  Then add them back one by one in case there is more than one DLL with the issue.

The Chilkat dll indocates you run one of DataSpring's modules? Here's a thread from their forum regarding the switch to medium trust http://www.datasprings.com/Products/ProductForums/tabid/727/forumid/4/tpage/1/view/topic/postid/6827/Default.aspx#7187

I see with that post this line -- "My ISP limits it to medium level, and I have to comment out that line in web.config otherwise the whole site will go down." What is it they are talkiing about? I looked at the web.config file on my server and I found this line:

<!-- the requirePermission attribute will cause a syntax warning - please ignore - it is required for Medium Trust support-->

Is there something I must do to dotnetnuke setup to run on medium trust?
