This kind of errors are given me headaches: "Installing Database - Version 5.0.0...FAILURE 400 - The stored procedure 'DNNSRC.UpdateDatabaseVersionAndName' doesn't exist."

This problem fixed. Seems ASP.NET need to be added to db users and public + owner role. Very weird.

Hi,

The nightmare has ended. I can go to sleep now. For some unclear reason the caching of the DNN localization part changed. Therefor the cache was not properly working or the code there is wrong. We added: System.Web.Hosting.HostingEnvironment.MapPath to our function.

J.

public static string GetSharedResourceFile(string name)
{
return DotNetNuke.Services.Localization.Localization.GetString(name, System.Web.Hosting.HostingEnvironment.MapPath(Localizations.SharedResourceFile));
}

A change in GetSharedResourceFile had been reported to the DNN Issue Tracker and being fixed in DNN 5.1.3 (read here)

Hi,

We have still a considerable issue in DNN 5.1.4 .3 version. We can't get it resolved. Seems the Localization.GetString has been changed from version 5.0.1 to 5.1.4 and there is some bug/ change in the Localization file regarding cache?

J.
