Hi Bahaa,

If you are commonly uploading files from FTP then under the host settings -> Other Settings, there is a checkbox to AutoSync the file system.  This will allow DNN to automatically keep the file manager up to date as the file information does get stored in the database for DNN, that is why you do not automatically see the files in the File Manager.

The other option if this ftp is only done on a periodic basis is to Synchronize Files and check the recursive checkbox in the File Manager. This will synchronize all the files between the file system and the database dependant on the folder that you have selected on the left hand side of the File Manager.

Please note, that autosync only syncs files in current folder, when it is selected in URL control.

If you are adding / renaming / moving or deleting folders, you need to perform a manual recursive sync in Admin :: Site Settings.
