I'm building an intranet portal using DNN, and this module looks like something I could really use.

What I'd like to do is set up a blog for the whole portal using subblogs on department pages.  I added a blog to the main page, and while I was there, added two child blogs.  What I would like to do is to set up a child blog on each department page and have any of their entries be posted to the blog on the front page.

ie - have the blog on the Home page mostly just list entries from the child blogs, not really allow blog entries itself.

Any ideas?

Wouldn't you have the child blogs publish an RSS feed, and have the home page subscribe to the feeds?

I am trying to publish just one child blog on separate pages and have them show up on the front page.  Is there a way to insert just the child blog on each page?  The only thing I have found is the main blog being inserted each time.  Trying to find a way to put the IT blog on the IT page, the Accounting blog on the Acct page, and on the home page just RSS them both.

The root problem I am having is the Main blog of which IT and Acct are child blogs keeps showing up when I add Blog to my page.

any advice?

No you can not put a child blog as the main blog on a page. With the Personal Blog Page feature you can put every root blog (with the child blogs as categories) on a different page as the root blog.

The only way is to use a rss module to display the information of the child blogs on different pages.
