I have made a copy of the MinimalExtropy container to create my own styling.  I am floating the container to the left and wanted to shrink-wrap it as well.  However, IE 7 and the floated right "minimize" icon is being a pest.

The other option I have is to set a fixed width on the container.  However, I would like the width to depend on the page that I am on, and in fact even the module.  So on my Home page, I have 4 instances of the container.  I want 3 with a width of 400px, and the other with a width of 250px.

It would be trivial to do this if I could give each of my module containers a unique id.  The ideal (I think) would be to have a page level css that sets the width of the containers by css class name and for the special container by id.

Is this possible?  Can I specify an ID for a module instance?  Can I have a page level CSS?  Am I going about this the wrong way?

Thanks for your help.

I'm looking for this also. It will be very handy when comes to design. Like hiding side pane container in virtually generated page e.g. blog module's blog article page.

Update:

Inspired by Think of Design's avoid span in module title, I've written a guide to create an unique id for every DNN Containers based on module instance.

Thanks,
George

Hey George, that's pretty cool.  It looks like you are referencing the module id that is generated by DNN.  I would have liked to give more meaningful ids, but this looks like it will work nicely.  Thanks!
