DNN 5.1.4, Events Module 5.0.2

Is there any way to control the order in which the columns appear in the Event List view? Eg, I would prefer to have the Event Image first, followed by the title, then date/times.

(Sorry if this has already been discussed elsewhere in this forum - but when searching here I get Critical Error/Timeouts).

TIA,
Bob

Hi Bob,

No this isn't currently possible. We are planning to make the list views more flexibile in the next major release (5.1.0), but this is still some months away, and the feature set has not been tied down yet.

That said, you may be able to change the order by editing the ascx file, but I make no promises there.

Roger

You can do a little "chapu".

In the list view settings you select image and description. Description goes after image, so in the template you can modify tokens to show information you want to. For instance:

[event:titleurl] -
[NOTALLDAYEVENT][event:startdate|D][/NOTALLDAYEVENT] a las [NOTALLDAYEVENT][event:startdate|t][/NOTALLDAYEVENT]

It is not a fine work... but it works  :)

Yep, that is functionality we added since this question was asked. Also you can use repeater view, which whilst it isn't 'column' based does give you alot of functionality.
