Please check out the DNN CT User's Group October meeting - Confessions of a DNN Convert. Our site is www.dnnct.org - Held at 1 Barnes Industrial Rd. South in Wallingford on October 13th at 7pm. Hope to see you there!

Sure, DotNetNuke is a robust web development platform whose modular architecture makes it perfect for handling a wide variety of project requirements. But for a small independent web design and production company used to classic asp, php and include files, switching to DNN exclusively can be a daunting process.

In this session Marvin Kane will discuss the challenges, pitfalls, rewards and reasons one company made the switch – and how both the company and its small business clients are benefiting.

The meeting is set for Tuesday, October 13 at 7pm at 1 Barnes Industrial Rd S in Wallingford.

Marvin is the Founder and President of Kaneworks, a web design and production firm. Based in Salem, MA, Kaneworks serves the needs of small to midsized businesses by building websites that are findable, likeable and usable.

Prior to launching Kaneworks in 2006, Marvin was the Web Production Manager for Cyrk, Inc., a promotional marketing company that specialized in developing ecommerce sites for Fortune 1000 companies like Charles Schwab, Peterbilt Motors, Caterpillar, Accenture, Gillette, Masterfoods and General Motors to name a few.
