Hi!
What do I need in a skin to show the background image selected in Site Settings - Basic Settings - Appearance - Body Background?

Do I need to insert something in my htm? Like a token, like the [NAV] and [LOGIN] tokens?
Do I need to remove something from my css? Like any background info (it should, though be possible to have a backgound color together with the image)?

Anyone got an example code that shows the Body Background image?

No it should work but it could be your skin defines some CSS preventing it to show.

What skin are you using?

 You need to create a skin that doesn't have a background defined.

I wouldn't suggest that, when I do our DNN Training I tell people never to use the bodybackground setting, I recommend putting your backgrounds in the Skin themselves if necessary.

Timo: I am designing my own skin.

I have this css code:

body

{

margin:0px;
background-color:#dcd8bd;background-image:url('Images/Collage backgr.jpg');background-repeat:no-repeat;background-position:left top;background-attachment:fixed;text-align:center;

It works fine, but I then discovered the Body Bacground choice and fell for the idea that it should be possible to change the background image without reinstalling the skin. I commented out the css code and chose a Body Background in Site Settings, but the new image did not appear.

}

 Your "background-color" is likely the cause, did you take that and the image out?
