I am trying to install the OpenID authentication provider on 5.1.4

I modified the OpenID-Install.dnn file in the OpenID_01.00.00_Install package, but it still will not work. I get an error like this:

 

A critical error has occurred.
Could not find file 'D:\inetpub\webconnexus\Install\Temp\yzfoj3go\OpenID_Install.dnn'.

Strange, because when I look for the file using ftp it is there....

 

Is there a newer version of OpenID authentication for DNN 5?

I assume there is a packaging issue, I suggest to unzip first, modify and re-unzip, ideally not used Windows built-in zip.

I need to get OpenID through the DNN Release Tracker but the latest version is included with your DNN download. If you look in the download package under Install\AuthSystem you'll see the OpenID .zip file.

I have tried this with no success. I am using Izarc to zip the file, and have tried various compression settings, but nothing seems to work.

As I have noted, the file ends up unzipped in the temporary install directory, but does not actually install.

Will an updated package of OpenID for DNN 5+ be posted soon?

 Mark, did you try the one that comes as part of the DNN package you downloaded?
