Hi there, I opened a thread about this a while back and I've had no replies so I thought I'd throw it open again. I've installed DNN 5.1.4 on my localhost, connected to the DB and ran the install successfully. However when I try to access the login page or the home page (default.aspx does work) I get the "The resource cannot be found" page? I uninstalled this version and tried another previous version, 5.1.0, the install went well but I got the same error. Some pages are visable some aren't. I've set up my folder permissions correctly, I've used new database instances, nothing seems to resolve this, can someone please help I've been trying to resolvethis for days.

My database is a SQL Server DB and I'm running Vista and IIS7.

Any ideas? Anyone?

Hmmm... I've installed SQL server 2008, removed SQL Express, tried a new install and no joy - same problem. My confidence in DNN is almost gone!

did you configure /default.aspx as default document inside IIS web site configuration?

Which OS (IIS version) are you using?

Hi there, default.aspx is set as the default document. I'm using IIS on Vista Home Prem. I've got a sql server 2008 back end and it's installing. Some pages are there, some - like the login aren't - I've been working on this for a week or so.

Thanks

what do you mean by "Some pages are there, some - like the login aren't"?

DNN content is organized by modules - does the issue really affect pages or content of specific modules?
