Great work, important to have dedicated developers to this very important module!

#1 The module should allow two fields with the same name. Today we can define and save this but it errors out when we click back.

#2 Spaces before or after column names should be trimmed away when saving. Today a column name with a space as last character errors out when you sort on the column.

My users have “found” both this issues, so I hope you could get rid of them in the next release.

Again thanks for a great module.

ArntK,

thank you for your post. regarding your suggestions:

#1 within a module, there should not be two columns with the same name, as they are difficult to distingush. I will check, if this is prevented now

#2 we check now to prevent special characters, that can lead into troubles.

and there are many more features coming in UDT 3.3.0 - stay tuned!

Cheers from Germany,
Sebastian Leupold

#1 End users will not understand why they can't have two columns with the same name, but if you stop them from doing it wiht a message - thats the next best thing to do.

Yes, I see new things are comming - great. Supporting iPortable is importend, because we then can use the  module in templates with example data.

Thanks

It is not only iPortable, we have other features in progress and reworked the whole module under the hood, to leverage efforts, needed for further enhancements. I will blog soon about details ...

Great,

Can you confirm that issue #1 is gone in your next release?

Thanks
