Tried that, from a local Install version, AND from a locally installed source version, and neither worked.

We've moved to a different host, and got it working within 30 minutes. We have another application to install alongside DNN, and i didn't feel like wasting a week trying to install that as well.

The official answer from tech support is that they only support up to version 3.0.13 of DNN and I'm on my own if I try any other version. I couldn't get any other information out of them about permissions and allowed security settings, so we gave up trying to deal with them.

Sounds like giving up is the best answer in that case. Sorry to hear you had issues like that.
