Good morning all,

I installed the latest DNN without a hitch, I was able to edit a few pages that same day. However, when I go back to the site, insert my credentials and try to log in, nothing happens....the page doesn't refresh, the credentials stay put as well.

If I hover over the login button, I noted that it links to "/Administration/tabid/56/Default.aspx" which is the page of my account login.

I did post this similar thread int he "Install It" forum, but I think that wasn't the correct forum, as I haven't had any solutions since my original post on 10/1

You might want to try this:

http://www.willstrohl.com/Blog/tabid/66/EntryId/118/HOW-TO-Access-the-DNN-Login-Page-from-Any-Page.aspx

If that doesn't work, then you will need to NULL out the LoginTabId field in the database, and then refresh the site cache to restore the original login control/page.

This query will restore the login for all portals on a DNN install.

UPDATE {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}Portals] SET [LoginTabId] = NULL

Or use this one if you know the portal id (replace ### with the portal id):

UPDATE {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}Portals] SET [LoginTabId] = NULL WHERE [PortalId] = ###

Then refresh the site cache.  Here is a link to help you with that:

Thank you...the first link allowed me to log in and I found that my Authentication module was using the AD Login for the module control...again, thanks! now it's time to figure out how to get AD auth working.
