I'm writing a module and part of the functionality I need is to hide other modules on the page.

I have no trouble hiding the module I'm writing via the "ContainerControl" property in PortalModuleBase.  Is there a way to access this property for other modules on the page?  Or any way at all to hide other modules?

Have the page reload with "mid/YOURMODULEIDHERE" in the url and that will cause DNN to load only your module on that page.

Check out NavigateUrl to do that. I don't have the full syntax off the top of my head. :)

Sorry I suppose I should have been more clear..I don't want ONLY my module to show.  I just want to be able to show/hide other modules from within my modules.

Consider the following algorithm

For each module on page

If module.name = ##### then

module.hide

I thought that might be what you were looking to do. :)

You'll have to play around in the page controls and trace up/down until you find the other modules.

I did some PoC code on this once to find my own modules, I assume you can cast it to a control and change the visibility so that it isn't rendered, I just had to see if another module of mine was on the page.

I, unfortunately, don't remember where I put that snippet of code...
