Oh yes, this seems to work! I did some stupid mistakes when testing in a hurry i.e. I ran this 5.0.2. version script on 4.0.2 module and lost everything in the main calendar...I build the test site again on top of the "ruins" and updated the module. And now I didn't even have to run the script anymore, it seems to be working now...amazing!

I have to do some more testing but once more thanks a lot Roger!

Regards,

timov.

Looks like 5.0.2 had a 500 char limit (about 120 calendars), whilst 5.0.3 goes back to 255 - don't ask!! In any case if you upgrade to 5.0.3 I can supply a script to sort that for you. We will fix in the next release after 5.0.3.

OK, so it seems that I messed up with my test sites and Events 4.0.2 and 5.0.2 in the first place. If I had used 5.0.2 all the time, I hadn't missed those 63+ sub calendars.

Now I also ran the script again (with Events 5.0.2 this time...) and everything works just fine. But what is the limit now with 5.0.2 AND your script? 120 calendars will do fine for now but is there now an even higher limit?

And thanks for your kind suggestion about scripting for 5.0.3 too. I'll check out the new production version when it comes but I think I can wait the next release with the fix.

Regards,

timov.

Hi Timo,

I think it is about 120 calendars with 5.0.2. I've put a request on Gemini to raise the limit.

Cheers
Roger

In fact with the script I supplied, I think it will be nearer 240.
