I have an up-coming project where we will be offering two different versions of our site - a Full and a Lite.  Data from the Lite should follow the user when they upgrade to Full.  Can I change which page is the default page for a given portal? (default-lite or default-full)  Then I could host the two sites under the same portal ID and the content would migrate from Lite to Full.  Good idea or crazy?

I would also like to build a "wizard" for the site owners to enter data for the site pages, Lite has about three custom modules needing data and the Full has about 5.  In order to mask the complexity of administrating a site, the users would be given a site template and then be walked through the admin view of the three modules (installed on some admin only pages).  Can I default the module to admin view (settings view) for a certain role? I have looked at the "wizard" functionality, and it looks a little bare - or am I not imaginitive enough?

BTW: using DNN 5

Thanks for all suggestions...

PS looking for contractors - experts need only apply.

Take a look at DNNGuru.com, a FREE online job site for DNN.  There you can review consultant profiles and also post your project for contractor review.

Mike, I would not try to switch pages (crazy ;) - instead just use Roles to show different content on the same home page depending on if they are Lite or Full. You can make whole pages dependant on the role but I would stick to one dynamic home page.
