Dear experts

I need your advice for how to make this site,I want to have a combobox on the top of the homepage called  Previous Issues where i can choose the date of the previous magazines then when i choose the previous date the home page will change completely to show the top news of that day.

My client gave me this site to make one like it , it is in arabic but you can get the idea from the 2 combobox in the homepage www.almasry-alyoum.com

Please any idea is appreciated

it depends, how your page content is created. you can either create a page per issue and place a links module on it with links to every issue or use a more sophisticated module with a filter option to select specific records - either create the module yourself or use a generic solution to create it accordingly.
