i have an HTML module on a page and i have an iframe on another page which references the HTML module. but it displays it without it's stylings - just as plain text. why is that?

Make sure your module is loaded together with a skin - or, at least, with styles you are looking to keep. If you are loading module by itself, you can include styles in that module's header or footer...
