Hi all,
I am in the process of using DNN for our company intranet and so far everything seems to be working fine, my users login automatically, roles are syncronised perfecly. I have installed Effority.Net User Directory Module and would love to use as the company staff directory but cannot see how to add additional fields to the user profile from AD. i have found a coule of threads here ( This being the latest ). My programming knowledge is limited but i can make changes to the ADSIProvider.vb file fine but am lost when it comes to compling the .dll. Would someone be able to explain in layman terms please? im desperate to make this work.

Many thanks.

Do you have Visual Studio 2005 or 2008? That would be the first step.

If you install the source version of the provider onto your Dev site and then open the .sln file (for the provider) you should be good to go. Once you make your changes and build the project you'll have a new .dll file.
